Your data, kept small.

We collect what it takes to sell you an app, deliver it and keep it working. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.

Who is responsible

The controller is Sheikhira, a sole trader business, of The Bristol Office, 2nd Floor, 5 High Street, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, BS9 3BY, England. Email hello@sheikhira.com. ICO registration: [ICO registration number].

What we collect and why

• Your email address, to send your licence key or download link and to answer you. Basis: performing our contract with you.
• Purchase records from Stripe: what you bought, the amount, tax, refunds and Stripe’s reference numbers. We never see your card details. Basis: contract, and the legal duty to keep accounts.
• Licence and device activations: your licence key and an identifier for each device you activate it on, so the licence works and its device limit holds. Basis: contract.
• Bug reports you choose to send from inside an app, with any contact details you add. Basis: our legitimate interest in fixing the apps.
• Hashed IP addresses, used only for rate limiting and stopping abuse. The address is scrambled before it is stored and the raw address is never kept. Basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Who processes it for us

• Stripe: payments, tax and receipts. Stripe is merchant of record and also a controller of the payment data it holds.
• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Vercel: hosting the website.
• Resend: sending email.
• Cloudflare: the licence API and email routing.

Some of these companies store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or a UK adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

• Purchase records: six years after the end of the tax year of the sale, for the accounts.
• Licences and activations: while the licence is active, then for 1 year.
• Bug reports: until the bug is closed, then for 1 year.
• Hashed IP addresses: 1 year.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how it is used, and take it elsewhere. Email hello@sheikhira.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
